Glazed porcelain is very similar in appearance to
conventional ceramic tiles. It is no coincidence, since they finish going
through exactly the same application in the process of firing a special glaze.
Due to this, porcelain tile has a glossy surface with a variety of patterns.
Unlike ceramics, tile has better mechanical strength. However, the scope of the
porcelain tile is in enclosed spaces in which it is not subject to heavy
abrasion. Both species can have both porcelain matte and polished surface.
Polishing usually undergoes technical ceramic, whereby the surface becomes

Porcelain tiles are much more susceptible to mechanical wear
